Gaganyaan: ISRO completes key test ahead of first uncrewed mission
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) completed a critical test for its Gaganyaan mission on October 18, 2026. This test involved the separation of the crew module from the service module, a vital step in demonstrating human spaceflight capabilities. The uncrewed mission aims to launch three crew members into a 400 km orbit and return them safely to Earth.
