Gill No.1 in ODIs; Sooryavanshi rises in T20Is
Indian cricket captain Shubman Gill reclaimed the No. 1 position in the ICC ODI batting rankings, taking over from New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell, who had held the spot since January 2023. Additionally, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi surged 230 places to rank 48th in T20I cricket following his strong performance against Zimbabwe, where he scored two half-centuries. The rankings reflect significant achievements for both players, marking Gill's leadership and Sooryavanshi's emerging talent in international cricket.
