Global demand puts India's two wheeler exports back in top gear
Bajaj Auto exported more two-wheelers than it sold domestically in the June quarter for the first time since Q1 FY23, reflecting a significant recovery in India's two-wheeler exports. Total motorcycle and scooter exports surged nearly 37% to 1.5 million units compared to the same period last year, driven by strong demand from Africa, Latin America, and Asia. This resurgence comes alongside a resilient domestic market, with TVS Motor reporting its highest-ever international sales and a 25% increase in domestic sales.
