Goa: Canacona villagers protest against mega housing project
More than 150 residents of Delem and Mastimol in Canacona protested against a mega housing project of nearly 200 flats, claiming approvals were granted despite their objections. They alleged that the project would strain local infrastructure and that the road width discrepancies were ignored. Villagers vowed to continue their opposition, potentially escalating to legal action if necessary.
