GOBARdhan eyes 10-fold increase in CBG output: Hardeep Singh Puri
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched the ₹23,731-crore GOBARdhan scheme, aiming for a 10-fold increase in compressed biogas (CBG) production. The initiative focuses on processing organic waste, including agricultural residue and food waste, and is projected to save over ₹40,000 crore in fuel imports. The scheme's implementation will enhance India's renewable energy capacity.
