Government caps trade margins on 137 anti-cancer drugs at 30%
The government capped trade margins on 137 anti-cancer drugs, including pembrolizumab and ribociclib, at 30% over the cost at the first point of sale. Manufacturers must submit revised maximum retail prices to the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority within seven days. The new pricing will take effect from November 9, 2026, and remain in force until further notice.
