Gross GST collections rise 15.4% to ₹2.11 trillion in July
Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections in India rose 15.4% to ₹2.11 trillion in July, reflecting strong domestic demand. Net collections increased 15.8% to ₹1.81 trillion, with Haryana leading growth at 25%. This trend is expected to continue as the fiscal year progresses, with total collections for FY27 already up 10.1% to ₹8.42 trillion.
