Haryana Cabinet approves housing, EV, MSME and governance reforms
The Haryana Cabinet approved several reforms on July 28 to enhance affordable housing, boost industries, and improve governance, chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Key measures include a significant reduction in stamp duty and registration fees for Economically Weaker Section beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0, and the introduction of the Haryana Progressive MSME and Export Promotion Policy 2026, which aims to attract ₹55,000 crore in investments and create over five lakh jobs. These initiatives are part of the state's broader strategy to support welfare measures and electric mobility.
