‘Has no legal basis’: India rejects Pakistan-China ‘boundary commission’
India rejected the Pakistan-China Boundary Joint Commission, stating it has no legal basis to determine arrangements related to Indian territory. This response followed the commission's first meeting in Islamabad, where India reiterated its stance against Pakistan's 1963 transfer of territories to China. The Ministry of External Affairs emphasized that Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India.
