HC restrains GMDA inspection at two group housing flats in Gurgugram in alteration row
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has restrained the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) from inspecting two flats amid a dispute over alleged unauthorized alterations. The case, involving flat owner Sachin Bembi, will be revisited on December 15, as the petitioner argues that GMDA's authority does not extend to licensed colonies governed by the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.
