HCLTech Announces $1.5 Bn Investment To Build Maiden AI Data Centre In Odisha
HCLTech signed a memorandum of understanding with Sarvam AI and the Odisha government to invest ₹14,257 crore ($1.5 billion) in an AI data centre in Bhubaneswar. This facility will leverage HCLTech's infrastructure and Sarvam's AI models to create sector-specific applications for enterprise and government clients. The project, part of the upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park, aims to enhance multilingual AI services and support local developer growth.
