HDFC Bank names Anup Bagchi as CEO; to take charge from October 27
HDFC Bank appointed Anup Bagchi as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 27. Bagchi, currently CEO of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, replaces Sashidhar Jagdishan, who opted not to seek reappointment. The Reserve Bank of India approved Bagchi's appointment for a three-year term, concluding on October 26, 2026.
