Helicopters to warships: Government notifies new indigenisation list
The Ministry of Defence notified the sixth Positive Indigenisation List, featuring 405 items with an estimated business potential of ₹3,070 crore. This list includes components for helicopters, fighter jets, armoured platforms, and warships, aimed at boosting self-reliance in defence manufacturing. The government plans to procure these items exclusively from Indian industry once developed locally.
