Hold all-party meet for FCRA, delimitation Bill, Derek urges PM Narendra Modi
Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha leader Derek O'Brien urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene an all-party meeting to discuss the Delimitation Bill and amendments to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA). O'Brien expressed concerns over the government's handling of important legislations, noting that the Delimitation Bill is not listed for the upcoming Monsoon session. He warned that the proposed FCRA amendments could adversely affect educational institutions and charitable organizations, particularly those run by the Christian community.
