Hyderabad Cyber Crime police registered cases against Meta India head Arun Srinivas for allegedly allowing morphed and AI-generated posts targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during recent protests. Complaints from businessman S. Aravind Reddy and Telangana BJP activist T. Saikiran Goud cited abusive content that could incite unrest and defame public figures. An investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible for the posts, but no arrests have been made yet.
