Hyundai to launch Bayon-based midsize SUV this festive season
Hyundai India Managing Director and CEO Tarun Garg announced the launch of a new midsize SUV during the upcoming festive season, which will be based on the Bayon platform. This SUV, measuring around 4.18 meters, will sit below the Creta and is expected to offer petrol and CNG powertrains, marking it as the first CNG-powered model in its segment. Following this launch, Hyundai will also introduce a compact electric SUV within the fiscal year, enhancing its presence in the growing SUV market.
