Income Tax Department nudges UAE property owners for assets disclosure scheme
The Income Tax Department contacted select taxpayers with investments in UAE properties as part of its Foreign Assets of Small Taxpayers-Disclosure Scheme (FAST-DS). Launched on August 16, the scheme has seen around 1,100 applications filed so far, with disclosures accepted until December 31. Taxpayers can access their information from 2022 to 2024 via the e-filing portal.
