India approves 18-hour power supply to Nepal amid hydropower losses

India approved an 18-hour power supply to Nepal, starting September 13, to address a generation shortfall caused by recent floods. The Ministry of Power will export up to 600 MW via the Muzaffarpur-Dhalkebar line and 54 MW through the Tanakpur-Mahendranagar line.
