India-based research policy lab launched at UNGA to promote pro-worker AI
The Institute for Human Flourishing (IHF), a research and policy lab based in India, was launched during the United Nations General Assembly week to promote pro-worker artificial intelligence. Backed by The Rockefeller Foundation and Schmidt Philanthropies, IHF aims to create economic opportunities for workers, particularly in the informal economy, and will establish a Livelihoods Lab and an AI and Jobs Observatory.
