India begins anti-dumping probes against imports of Glycine chemical from China
India initiated anti-dumping probes against Glycine imports from China, a chemical used in food and pharmaceuticals. The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) will assess if these imports have harmed domestic producers, potentially leading to recommended duties. A final decision on imposing these duties will be made by the Finance Ministry.
