India, Gulf bloc discuss next steps on FTA
India's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Vipul, met with GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi to discuss the free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations on Sunday. The GCC is India's largest trading partner bloc, with bilateral trade reaching USD 178.56 billion in 2024-25. A ministerial meeting is scheduled for next month to further advance the FTA discussions.
