Indians among hundreds to get share of $35m payout in labour 'exploitation' case
Over 100 construction workers, including Indians, will receive compensation in a $35 million settlement related to labor exploitation at the US consulate in Milan. Allegations include illegal wage cutbacks and unpaid overtime, with average payouts expected to be around 45,000 euros, and some cases reaching up to 90,000 euros. The settlement underscores the ongoing issues of labor rights in international projects.
