India's China trade boom brings a $100 billion bill
India's trade deficit with China surpassed USD 100 billion in the first nine months of this year, reaching USD 105.93 billion, a 20.7% increase from last year. Despite a 40.7% rise in Indian exports to USD 19.26 billion, Chinese exports to India grew by 23.3%, totaling USD 125.19 billion. This trend raises ongoing concerns about trade imbalances and market access.
