Intel providing chip technology to startup led by co-investor of CEO Lip-Bu Tan in rare deal
Intel has granted access to its Atom processor technology to startup RosaicLabs Inc., a rare move for the chipmaker. This partnership involves Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan and Rosaic's CEO Amarjit Gill, who are co-investors and have a history of collaboration in the chip industry. The access to Atom technology, which is energy-efficient and suitable for mobile devices, enables Rosaic to leverage Intel's intellectual property for custom chip designs.
