Jharkhand CM announces cancellation of JSSC-CGL exams; protest to continue till CBI probe demand is met, say students
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced the cancellation of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) exams on August 17, following an emergency cabinet meeting. Students celebrated the decision but vowed to continue protests until their demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry is met. The State Criminal Investigation Department is currently investigating the matter.
