Jharkhand government targets one lakh new PMAY-Urban houses approval this year
The Jharkhand government aims to secure approval for one lakh new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) this year. The municipal administration has identified 73,000 beneficiaries and directed urban local bodies to expedite applications and construction efforts. Director Nancy Sahay emphasized the need for timely fund disbursement and completion of pending geo-tagging to ensure progress.
