July 2026 EV sales: Monthly volumes cross 30,000 units for the second time
Electric vehicle (EV) sales in India surpassed 30,000 units for the second consecutive month in July 2026, with total sales reaching 32,609 units, an 83 percent increase year-on-year. Tata Motors achieved its highest monthly sales at 13,578 units, while Mahindra sold 7,677 units, marking a 125 percent rise from last year. Cumulative sales from April to July totaled 46,697 units, reflecting a significant 108 percent year-on-year growth.
