Karnataka government forms panel to fix e-Swathu bottlenecks, explores B-Khata for rural properties
The Karnataka government announced the formation of a five-member committee to address technical and server issues affecting the e-Swathu (e-Khata) record system for rural properties. Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Eshwar B Khandre stated that the committee, led by RDPR Secretary D Randeep, must submit recommendations within 10 days to resolve pending applications and improve the delivery of e-Swathu certificates. This initiative follows widespread complaints about the implementation of e-Swathu 2.0, which has left lakhs of applications unresolved, hindering property transactions in rural areas.
