Kia India plans to electrify 8 out 10 models by 2030; CNG also on cards
Kia India plans to electrify eight out of ten models by 2030, incorporating hybrid and factory-fitted CNG options. Executive Atul Sood stated the company aims to localize hybrid technology to enhance cost competitiveness while developing strong-hybrid versions of models like the Seltos, Sorento, and Carnival. The introduction of these electrified models aligns with Kia's strategy to provide diverse powertrain options to Indian consumers.
