Kochi metro phase-II construction to be completed in August 2027
Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) plans to complete the Phase II expansion by August 2027, as confirmed by managing director G Priyanka. The project will connect Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kaloor to Kakkanad SmartCity, with immediate civil work commencing following land acquisition. KMRL aims to enhance financial performance through non-fare revenues and recruitment for key positions.
