KTM RC 490 and RC 790 confirmed to be in development
KTM confirmed the development of two new models, the RC 490 and RC 790, as announced by CEO Gottfried Neumeister. The RC 490 will be based on a new platform distinct from the China-exclusive RC 450, while the RC 790 is expected to share features with the updated 790 Duke. No official launch timeline has been provided for either model, but the RC 490 aims to become the new entry-level supersport globally.
