Kuki-Zo bodies turn to Mizoram for Naga talks, urge Centre to defuse Manipur crisis
Kuki-Zo civil society groups are seeking intervention from Mizoram to facilitate dialogue with Naga leaders amid ongoing ethnic strife in Manipur. A delegation from the Kuki-Zo Church plans to meet church authorities in Aizawl to encourage Naga church leadership to engage in talks, following unsuccessful outreach to the United Naga Council. The Kuki bodies have also submitted a memorandum to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging the Centre to play a role in resolving the conflict.
