Land Rover Discovery Sport production to end in 2026
Land Rover will cease production of the Discovery Sport in December 2026, ending an 11-year run for the entry-level SUV. The decision follows a significant decline in sales, with JLR selling less than 10% of the 2016 volume in 2025, and is influenced by new European safety regulations that the aging model cannot meet cost-effectively. The Range Rover GT is expected to take its place on the production line at the Halewood plant.
