Lucid Motors’ EV output falls to lowest level in almost 2 years
Lucid Motors produced 2,954 electric vehicles (EVs) in Q3 2026, a 54% decline year-over-year, marking the lowest output since Q1 2025. The company has struggled with demand, delivering 3,806 EVs, and has laid off 1,500 employees to cut costs. Looking ahead, Lucid aims to simplify operations and release its more affordable Cosmos model, originally expected in 2024.
