Mahadev betting app case: ED alleges EaseMyTrip’s Nishant Pitti channeled illegal betting proceeds into the stock market
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a chargesheet against EaseMyTrip promoter Nishant Pitti for allegedly laundering ₹60 crore from the Mahadev betting app through stock market transactions. Pitti is accused of facilitating illegal fund transfers by manipulating share prices of Easy Trip Planners Ltd. The ED has provisionally attached shares worth ₹59.6 crore in Pitti's account, with further investigations ongoing.
