Maharashtra minister's niece Nila Vikhe Patil elected to Swedish Parliament
Nila Vikhe Patil, niece of Maharashtra minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, was elected to the Swedish Parliament from Stockholm City on Saturday. She is the great-granddaughter of Vithalrao Vikhe Patil, founder of Asia’s first cooperative sugar factory. Nila, who has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers since 2020, represents a significant connection between India and Sweden.
