Make sure Indiramma houses are built only in residential areas: Telangana CM to officials

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed officials to construct houses under the 'Indiramma' housing scheme exclusively in residential areas within the Hyderabad Core Urban Region. Reddy emphasized that building homes away from these areas would hinder beneficiaries' access to jobs and commuting. The government plans to build 7,680 flats in the first phase, with each unit costing ₹11 lakh, subsidized by ₹5 lakh from the government, while beneficiaries will pay ₹6 lakh in installments.
