MCD announces property tax amnesty scheme to pay old dues
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) launched the 'Sampattikar Niptaan Yojana (SUNIYO) 2.0' property tax amnesty scheme on Tuesday. Taxpayers with dues of ₹5 lakh or more can pay in instalments from September 29 to December 31, 2026, gaining relief from penalties on dues before 2019-20. The scheme aims to simplify tax payments and encourage settlement of old dues.
