MDL signs MoU as Anchor Shipyard for Greenfield Shipbuilding Industrial Cluster at Dighi
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to become the Anchor Shipyard for a Greenfield Shipbuilding Industrial Cluster at Dighi. The initiative aims for a shipbuilding capacity of at least 1.2 million Gross Tonnage (GT) annually, with an investment of around ₹15,000 crore. This project is expected to boost local shipbuilding capabilities significantly.
