Mercedes-Benz India rolls out E25-compliant cars amid biofuel push
Mercedes-Benz India has begun rolling out E25-compliant vehicles in response to the Indian government's push for increased biofuel usage, anticipating future fuel regulations. The company has made all cars sold in India E25 compliant since the start of 2026, aligning with the mandated use of E20 fuel from April 2026. Despite the shift towards biofuels, demand for traditional internal combustion engine models remains strong, with 75% of customers still opting for them.
