Micron to scale up assembly and testing of semiconductors at India unit multifold next year
Micron Technology announced plans to significantly scale up its semiconductor assembly and testing facility in India next year, according to CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. The company, which has been operating in India for seven years, currently employs over 7,000 people and has begun commercial production in Gujarat. This expansion aligns with India's semiconductor policy and aims to enhance local production capabilities.
