Mohali builder directed to pay 9% over delayed, uncertified possession
The district consumer disputes redressal commission ordered Janta Land Promoters to pay 9% interest on ₹42 lakh from July 30, 2018, due to delayed possession of the Galaxy Heights project. The builder must also compensate ₹75,000 for mental distress and provide promised amenities. This ruling follows a complaint regarding possession received only on March 10, 2023, despite a 2018 deadline.
