Mumbai: BMC issues stop-work notice to Andheri demolition site over dust-control violations
On October 19, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a stop-work notice to D.G.S. Land Developer for violating air pollution guidelines at a demolition site in Andheri. The notice followed complaints from the Lokhandwala Oshiwara Citizens Association about dust pollution affecting local residents. BMC imposed a ₹35,000 penalty and warned of further legal action if violations continue.
