Mumbai: BMC offers up to 15% property tax rebate for societies under decentralised waste processing mission
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) launched a decentralised waste processing mission, offering up to a 15% property tax rebate for housing societies that process wet waste on-site. This initiative aims to reduce landfill dependence, improve waste segregation, and promote recycling, with 3,177 bulk waste generators identified across the city. Interested agencies can submit Expressions of Interest until August 14 to assist in implementing these systems.
