Mumbai: BMC panel to consider leasing 15-acre Mulund dump land for Dharavi redevelopment works
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) proposed leasing 15 acres of reclaimed land at the Mulund dumping ground to Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt Ltd for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project. The lease, expected to generate ₹103.47 crore over five years, includes provisions for site remediation and a rental rate of ₹252 per square meter per month. The proposal will be reviewed by the Improvement Committee in an upcoming meeting.
