Mumbai: FIR filed against Royal Palms' developer for failing to hand over 349 slum rehabilitation homes
An FIR was filed against the developer of Royal Palms in Goregaon for not handing over 349 slum rehabilitation homes to the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) after 30 years. The project, initiated in 1996, has seen incomplete rehabilitation with only seven of twelve buildings finished. The investigation follows a complaint from Mumbai North-West MP Ravindra Waikar, seeking accountability.
