Nagpur: Kanhan Metro may redraw skyline, TOD to unlock development along belt
The Maharashtra government granted in-principle approval for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) along the 1.4 km Kanhan Metro extension, potentially transforming Nagpur's urban landscape. This initiative allows for denser construction and commercial development within 500 metres of the corridor, promoting residential and mixed-use projects near Metro stations. The increased floor space index (FSI) could enhance property values and stimulate economic activity, contingent on the detailed TOD plan and local infrastructure capacity.
