NDMC clears garbage near Jantar Mantar protest after access issues
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) cleared garbage near the Jantar Mantar protest site after access issues persisted, despite volunteer efforts to collect waste. Heaps of refuse had accumulated on Jantar Mantar Road until the NDMC intervened on Friday. Access to lanes leading towards Sansad Marg and Patel Chowk remained obstructed, indicating ongoing challenges in maintaining cleanliness at the protest area.
