Nifty, Sensex decline for third day on higher crude oil prices, selling in bank stocks
The BSE Sensex fell 0.92% to 76,755.05, while the NSE Nifty declined 0.79% to 23,996.25, marking the third consecutive day of losses. The declines were driven by rising crude oil prices and increased selling in bank stocks. Despite the downturn, shares of Hindustan Unilever, NTPC, Power Grid, and Titan showed gains during the trading session.
