No tax on EVs up to Rs 30 lakh in Haryana; women get 1% rebate too
The Haryana Cabinet approved a full exemption from motor vehicle tax for new electric vehicles priced up to ₹30 lakh, aiming to boost EV adoption in the state. Additionally, a 1% tax rebate will apply to non-transport vehicles registered in women's names, promoting their financial independence. The revised policy also includes a 50% tax exemption for EVs above ₹30 lakh and maintains a 20% rebate on CNG vehicles.
